At the Clinton Church of England School, all pupils are supported by the teachers as individuals to strive to be inspiring changemakers in a caring, family and community-centred rural environment. Our C360 curriculum offers an opportunity for children to explore their own talents as well as learn new skills. This is laid out within our four cornerstones;

    *    Academic (Wisdom, Knowledge and Skills)

    *    Character (Hope, aspiration and courageous Advocacy)

    *    Community (and living well together, dignity and respect)

    *    Innovation

The land our school is built on was generously donated by Lord and Lady Clinton.

This is a Church of England Primary School in the Diocese of Exeter. Recognising the historic foundation the school will preserve and develop the religious character in accordance with the principles and practice of the Church of England and in partnership with the Churches in the Parish and Diocese.

The school aims to serve its communities by providing an education of the highest quality within the context of Christian belief and practice. It encourages an understanding of the meaning and significance of faith and promotes Christian values through the experience it offers its pupils.

‘Let your roots grow down into him and let your lives be built on him.’

Colossians 2:7

Primary School sets the foundation for lifelong learning and we strive to ensure that when children leave our setting to move onto secondary school they already have the tools to be courageous advocates for their own, their communities and the world's future.

Wow! What a fantastic day we had with Wonderstruck today. An incredible show with lots of bangs and fire, followed by two great workshops. The children undertook the compressed air car workshop and the spin bot workshop. These were both exciting, giving the children the opportunity to work together and get creative in their designs to make theirs the best performer in the competition. Thank you to The Friends of The Clinton Primary School, Merton for their generosity in providing the children a fantastic experience today. ... See MoreSee Less
